Help to rebuild flood damaged squash courts in Algemsi, Spain

The courts have been submerged after one of the most extreme floods in Spanish history.

Spain has faced floods on an unprecedented scale over past few weeks, with it being one of the deadliest national disasters in Spanish history

On Tuesday, October 29, the town of Algemesí suffered a flood due to the overflowing of the Magro River.

The entire area was affected, including the new squash courts in Algemesi.

The new squash courts had only just been built, and they are the only club in that area: with over 200 people being members.

They are seeking help to repair the courts where Aal the activity of the Algemesi Squash Club takes place

It is estimated that the cost of repairing and conditioning the courts as well as the outdoor area is 130,000 euros.

We are calling on the squash community to help support repairs: any donations are appreciated.

Help to rebuild these courts and the surrounding area by donating to their GoFundMe here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/recaudacion-pistas-squash-algemesi
