Exciting PSA Foundation developments highlighted during Hong Kong Open and WSF World Team Championships

The PSA Foundation recently attended both the Hong Kong Open and the WSF World Teams Championships, with lots of exciting activities taking place during this period for the Foundation

We took part in the WSF Conference, which highlighted several key topics to support the future of the sport as well as an AGM which included all federations.

This included talks about Women in Coaching, and the importance of increasing more opportunities for women in leadership positions in our sport, as well as key sections surrounding increasing gender parity in refereeing.

In a major new direction for the PSA Foundation and the sport, the Foundation will be shifting its focus in the coming months, with more to be announced soon

It was particularly important to us to meet with all Federations, as the goal in the future is that we are going to expand our work with federations at a grassroots level

Head of the PSA Foundation Adriana Olaya talks about the upcoming Rally28 program

This work includes our involvement with the Rally28 campaign, which aims to engage millions of people with our sport in the buildup to the LA28 Olympics, where squash will be making its debut.

Rally28 will generate added resources to support squash’s growth across the world, rallying the global squash community behind the unique opportunity presented by the sport’s inclusion in the LA28 Olympic Games.

The goal is to stimulate growth through the creation of more courts, community leaders and grassroots programs.

Lots of announcements will take place over the coming months, so stay tuned!

We also collected a massive amount of donation for our Rebound program during the World Teams Championships.,

Rebound is our initiative that collects usable squash gear and distributes these donations across the world to communities that need them.

Thank you to Hong Kong Football Club for all donations, these items will make an enormous difference across the globe.

Federations and voices from across the squash community will also attend our next Squash Summit during El Gouna on the 12th and 13th April.

The theme for 2025 is “Discovering the secrets to the success of Egyptian squash” from grassroots to professional squash.
