The PSA Foundation – the charitable arm of the Professional Squash Association – is delighted to announce that England’s World No.5 and PSA Women’s President Sarah-Jane Perry has joined the PSA Foundation’s UK Board of Trustees.
Perry is the current PSA Women’s President and is also one of the leading players on the Women’s Tour. As part of her new role, the Englishwoman will help bridge the need of the PSA players in line with the overall objectives of the PSA Foundation, which includes player wellbeing and advocating equality. As well as being an active voice for the PSA Foundation in helping to achieve their objectives.
“I’m delighted to join the board of trustees,” said Perry.
“The players are at the heart of a significant part of the work the PSA Foundation does, and I aim to represent them to the best of my ability. I’m looking forward to contributing and getting involved with all of the PSA Foundation’s activities moving forward.”
PSA Foundation Manager, Adriana Olaya, added: “We are thrilled to welcome SJ to our board of UK Trustees.
“She is a very proactive and smart woman, whose passion for the sport will inject a lot of energy and guidance into achieving our objectives. Her input as the PSA Women’s President will be invaluable when discussing our player wellbeing and equality objectives, as well as her role with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games being key to helping us grow our grassroots and community engagement activities.”
