PSA Tour (the professional squash tour) events are a great platform to be introduced to squash in style. The PSA Foundation is committed to leveraging the biggest platforms of our game to connect with new communities and introduce squash to more people.

All of our bookings are free of charge, as we look to share the enjoyment of playing squash with as many people as possible! We look forward to meeting you at a PSA event soon.

What does a school / youth group visit to a PSA event look like?

  • A 45 minute practical introduction to squash from a qualified coach. Depending on the space available, this may be on full sized courts or portable equipment such as pop-up nets or mini squash courts.
  • 45 minutes in the stands watching some of the best players from across the world compete.
  • 30 minutes spare to hopefully catch one of the competing players for a quick Q&A, for any possible snack breaks and moving around the venue. Any leftover time can be spent playing some more squash!
  • We find 2 hours is a good amount of time for a group visit, though we can be flexible.

The British Open Squash Championships – Birmingham

The British Open – one of the most prestigious and historic tournaments in professional squash returns to The Rep from Sun 2 – Sun 9 Jun.

Considered the ‘Wimbledon of squash’, the British Open is squash’s longest-running tournament and has become the most distinguished event on the PSA World Tour calendar. Second only to the PSA World Championships in renown, the British Open is a fantastic event starring the world’s best squash players.

During the event, we will be inviting school and youth groups to have a go at squash on portable equipment outside on Centenary Square, before heading inside The Repertory Theatre to watch some of the worlds best squash players battle it out.

Venue Address:

Birmingham Repertory Theatre, 6 Centenary Sq, Birmingham B1 2EP.

Groups should be no more than roughly 30 children per session booking.
