2018-19 PSA World Tour Finals Inspires the Juniors of Cairo

There were plenty of juniors around at the CIB PSA World Tour Finals inspired by the world’s best squash players that were on show at Cairo’s Mall of Arabia.

With five of the men’s players and four of the women’s being Egyptian, it was a special opportunity for the local juniors to be able to watch their role models in action as World No.1 Raneem El Welily and World No.4 Karim Abdel Gawad taking home the titles.

The World Tour Finals showcases how another PSA tournament connects to the local community and uses the prestigious platform in a way that inspires both the next generation of players and those looking to enjoy a healthy new hobby.

It’s safe to say that there were plenty of youngsters who left the tournament with lifelong memories and souvenirs from meeting their squash idols…

This also offered a great platform of motivation for those now competing in the ARDIC Egyptian Junior Open.

You can currently watch that action unfold for FREE on the Squash – PSA World Tour Facebook page (excluding Europe and Japan), or on the SQUASHTV website with a free digital subscription.
