Allam British Open Legacy Programme ‘Hull Cubed’ Launched!

On Thursday May 23 we saw the launch of the new Allam British Open legacy programme in partnership with the PSA Foundation, Rackets Cubed, University of Hull and Nurture a Child.

The programme will first trial with St James Primary school for the rest of this summer term and then open to even more primary schools from low income areas, introducing many new faces to the sport through the esteemed facilities at the University of Hull. During their session’s children will have an hour of squash, an hour of academics focused on the STEM (science technology, engineering and mathematics) programme and a hot meal.

The launch of the programme included a presentation from representatives of each partner talking about what’s to come from the programme during the third round of the Allam British Open on the all-glass showcourt.

PSA World Tour events are held in aspirational and inspiring locations all around the globe and host the world’s best players and this new programme marks the start of a legacy programme that aims to create new waves of players from their respective communities.
