Pontefract & University of Hull; Our Support Programmes Going Strong

Promotion of squash programs going strong | PSA Foundation
We paid a visit to two UK based Rackets Cubed programmes that we’re delighted to be supporting.

One being the first World Tour legacy programme born from the British Open at the University of Hull. Following this we went to see the prestigious Pontefract Squash and Leisure Club programme, under the wise wisdom of Malcom Willstrop.

Firstly we went to check on the British Open Legacy Programme at the University of Hull:

Following this, we went to check on the progress of the Pontefract Sports and Education Foundation:

It’s fantastic to see squash clubs compatible with local primary schools for these kind of programmes. It’s a big step towards squash finding its way into schools and the younger generations.

These programmes are set up in the structure set out by our partners Rackets Cubed. This means they combine squash with extra educational support and nutritious meals. This further encourages all the elements to an active and healthy lifestyle. Combining these elements, scales up the impact these programmes have on the children involved.
